March Newsletter 2022

Hello everyone.

At last, we are back with plans in place to restart our outings and are looking forward to meeting up with families both old and new to us. For those of you that do not know us or are unsure of coming out with us please look around our web site or give us a call to discuss things.

Some important notes from the newsletter

Please note we do have COVID rules these are explained in the newsletter.

Funding help requested, we are asking you to write us a personal and heartfelt letter (it can be anonymous) answering the following question.

  • Why our family needs Daytrippers (bolton)?

  • What your family gets from attending an outing or activity with Daytrippers (bolton)?

  • What is it that makes a difference to your family?

  • What would you like to do as a family that you wouldn’t do without the support of Daytrippers(bolton)?

Registration Forms. As always we need up to date contact details etc. about all families that are using our group therefore, we have attached a registration form and are asking everyone that intends using our group to complete and return to us. This includes families that have registered with us in the past.

Planned outings and suggestions. Being mindful of the rising cost of fuel etc. in the current climate it has been decided that we would try and do as much as we can locally and use public transport where possible. Most if not all of the disabled children will be entitled to bus passes if you don’t already have one please email elaine.nuttall@bolton.gov.uk with the disabled child’s name, date of birth, address and a passport size photo.

Bookings will only be taken from Monday 28th March after 9am. We tend to fill up very quickly and also need to confirm numbers for the venue well beforehand so early booking is vital.

The bookings numbers are 07742693157 or 07941747920

Please DO NOT leave any voice or text messages. If no one answers you will need to try again. Please remember bookings or cancellations CAN ONLY be made by phone call and CANNOT be made by text, email, Facebook, voicemail or post.

All money must be in a sealed envelope or bag with your disabled childs name, number of people attending and amount enclosed written on it.

Places booked  are for named family members only. If anyone cannot attend you must phone to cancel their places. Do not offer the places to anyone else. We always have a waiting list and you could be depriving another family from attending. Please Read our Cancellation Policy.
