In view of the latest advice and for your safety we feel that we have no alternative but to suspend all our planned outings and weekly activities with immediate effect.
We are all very disappointed to have to do this but are hoping we can all offer each other lots of support via this group on Facebook, Messenger or WhatsApp, our web site and other Facebook pages.
We also hope to keep our 2 phone lines open throughout if you feel you need to talk to someone. Phone numbers are 07742 693157 and 07941 747920.
In the meantime stay safe and well everyone. Our program of outings and activities will be back up and running just as soon as the current situation allows.

Hi Everyone. We hope you are all well, keeping safe and coping in this unusual situation.
We just wanted to keep you upto date with what's going on in the Daytrippers (Bolton) family and invite you to join in if you want to.
As we have several families who don't use Facebook we set up a WhatsApp group which is proving to be very popular. People are sharing, coping stratagies, recipes, jokes, quotes, poems pictures, asking for advice or turning to it to have a scream if needed.
Hopefully you have all received a letter from us with some activities and ideas. If you haven let us know and we will make sure you get one.
We also want to remind you know about our Emergency Fund – Covid 19 if any of you find yourselves without the money to buy food or fuel at the moment Daytrippers (Bolton) is able to make a one off payment of £25 for you to purchase basic essentials. Please contact us for details.

Many fundraising events in the UK have been postponed or cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Whilst we are all hopeful many of these events will go ahead at a later date, many charities across the UK have been left struggling to maintain their services.
These charities need our support now more than ever. From those supporting children to the elderly, as well as those providing vital palliative care, mental health support, housing, food supplies and more. It’s never been more important to come together and show how much we care.
As a registered charity Daytrippers(Bolton) can now be supported through this event
Have fun whilst helping us to raise vital funds by taking part in the 2.6 challange this Sunday or during the coming week. You decide on the activity and can be as inventive as you want the important thing is that you do it for 2.6 or 26 or even 260 times or seconds, minutes or hours.
